Our Second annual Australian Open Championships are to be held at the same location this year.
Starting Thursday afternoon 28th November 2024 at the Visions Room, Mantra Twin Towns Resort, Cnr Griffith St and Wharf St, Tweed Heads, NSW.

The event will include:
Opening Target Matchplay 5:30pm (NSW Time).
4-strike Knockout event on Friday commencing 7pm (NSW Time).
Max Matchplay closing event starting 4pm Sunday 1 Dec following completion of the Open Finals. 
Australian Open Women's Championships Finals on Sunday 1 Dec 9am.
Classics Finals on Saturday from 7pm.
Main Australian Open Finals from 10am Sunday Dec 1. 
Qualifying for the Main, Classics and Women's will be via the 5-game card format used at INDISC and the UK open.
Each card will cost $20 and there is no limit on how many cards can be purchased. All 5 games on the card qualify toward standings to qualify for finals. 200 points for each top game score, descending per usual scoring tables. Details for each competition can be found on the website.
Prizes will include cash and trophies, with 80% of collected money from the cards going back into prizes. 
All tournaments are IFPA approved, with Classics and Main being Certified for points boost. Points will go towards NSW Championships and overall Australian standings. Women's winner will receive instant entry into the Australian Women's IFPA Championship to be held in 2025. 
NO ENTRY FEE IS BEING CHARGED
Expect over 30 tournament ready games with further games available for free play. General public are welcome to come in and join the competition or play free play games any time. Entry to play without tournament entry is $15. Children under 12 free. 
There is plenty of accommodation with a range of pricing available, and the beach is 1 street away. We encourage families to attend for a pre-Christmas holiday. The card format means you won't be stuck inside all day playing, so can spend time with family and friends.
