Yaboola - Battle of Waterloo #5 - Max Matchplay Round BRound B of 3 rounds for the 5th Battle of Waterloo....3 Events, 3 Venues, across 3 Days - A Real Pinball Crawl
On Sunday the 5th October we travel to Stephen's at BURNSIDE PINBALL CLUB, 13 Robertson Drive, Burnside 4560 (NAMBOUR) for 20 games of Max Matchplay, Plus Top 4 Finals.
The top 4 finalists will play 3 rounds of Group Matchplay.
NOTE: To allow this event to run on a timeframe to allow those who want to be able to have travel time to get home or to their chosen venue to watch the NRL GRAND FINAL we reserve the right to cull long playing games towards the back end of the event should it run over the expected time calculated. You have been advised.
Open at 9am for a 30 minute warm up, Briefing at 9.45am, Start at 10am, Finals expected to start at approx 3.15pm.
BYO Grog, Snacks provided, Water and Soft drinks on sale (Bring change)
32 Player limit. Cost for this event is $40.00 for a single event ticket (All in 3 Event ticket is $100.00 - Save $25.00) Pre paid tickets only. No tickets at the door.
DETAILS FOR RULES, POINTS, BONUS POINTS & TICKET SALES:
Battle of Waterloo: All 3 events are for IFPA points as single events with finals where mentioned. Separate to this the players will be awarded finishing position points being 1st = 100 points, 2nd = 97 points, 3rd = 95 points, and then so on. 94, 93, 92, etc for Battle of Waterloo points towards the perpetual trophy. Your top 2 events count with any player playing all 3 events being able to drop their worst result.
BONUS POINTS: 12 Bonus points will be awarded towards a players overall points tally for playing all 3 events.
PRIZES AND TROPHIES: If all 32 tickets sell the event will award trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd for each event and for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd winners of the 5th Battle of Waterloo.
The total of the cash and prizes will be approximately to $2,000.00 combined so get on board for your chance to win.

CENTRAL COAST PINBALL @ LOST SOULS BAR TERRIGAL
Hey Coasties!!!
We are back for our 2nd year!!!
We are located on the NSW Central Coast with 4 machines @ Lost Souls Bar Terrigal
Let's see if we can help build support and get a few local pinheads together to share a drink or two and play a few games together.
Starting out small, we have an IFPA meet on Wed 5th February, followed by a monthly comp on the 1st Wednesday of each month:
Wed 5th March, Wed 2nd April, Wed 7th May, Wed 4th June, Wed 2nd July, Wed 6th August, Wed 3rd Sept, Wed 1st October, Wed 5th November & Wed 3rd December.
Tournament will be Group Matchplay
Qualifying - 3 Rounds of 2 matches (6 qualifying games)
Balanced pairing, Scoring system: IFPA (7/5/3/1) for 4player groups (7/4/1) for 3 player groups.
Arena draws: Attempts will be made to assign an arena that hasn't been played the fewest times by all opponents.
Three rounds of two games per round.
Tiebreaker: Ties will not be broken and number of 1st then 2nds will be used to separate any ties on points
The finals will consist of the top 8 (or top 4 field if less than 16players).
Semi Final - players will be seeded into two groups using Matchplay. Each group will play 1 semi final with placings awarded 7/5/3/1 with the top 2 players from each group going through to the final
Final - The top four players will play 1x final
ENTRY FEE: $6 ($5 into the prize pool, the $1 IFPA\Aus Champ fee)
Pay per Play - Games are $2 or $5 for 3 games Expect to play 7 or 8 games if you make to the final 4
Prizes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, will receive cash from the $5 entrance fee & 4th will receive their $5 back There will also be random prizes on the night donated by the Lost Souls & AMD (if available) VENUE:

4 Machines (Metallica, Venom, Iron Maiden & Monster Bash as of Jan 2025) supplied in combo by Pinball Trading Co. & Austrojoy Pty Ltd We expect to be finished just around 10pm.
All normal tournament rules apply.
This event will be played for IFPA WPPRs
