Pinball Use

I was wondering, when considering a machine that is in like new condition but has been rarely played over the past 10 years, is the lack of use a good thing (limited wear and tear) or a bad thing. What should be considered or checked when inspecting such a machine.

rubbers might perish   some moving parts ncould be sticky   ,,,  just get the batteries off the board if there is any ,, otherwise good thing
