I have a couple guys interested in playing but not confirmed.

As there is not 220 players yet can they still register to play in the Main Event?

Tickets sales for the main event should be closed but may I suggest contacting either @Lambo or @Jimmy Nails to confirm

Hey team. Please read the message below from the Brewdog team with some housekeeping notes. The team at Brewdog are incredibly generous hosts and any reports of rude behaviour or breaking of the guidelines below will result in immediate removal from the venue and any following events. Be kind. Play well. Have fun.

--------------

It’s BPAC time!

We’re so excited to be your hosts over the 10 days of BPAC and just wanted to communicate some housekeeping information with you all to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Food Ordering

We’ll have a kitchen out the back serving pizzas and burgers throughout the 10 days to make ordering food easy.

If you decide to order food from the main restaurant, there will be an allocated ‘food drop’ table for BPAC participants in the main bar. You can collect your meal once it has been delivered to that table, and bring it back out to the BPAC space.

However, if you would instead like to sit in the restaurant to eat your meal, please speak to the hosts at the front desk to reserve a table, especially during our peak restaurant service times.

Smoking Area

This year we’ve added a dedicated smoking area for BPAC participants. Please note all smoking/vaping is limited to either this area, or to the venue’s main smoking area.

Bar/Kitchen Opening Times

We’ll try and keep the BPAC bar and BPAC kitchen open for you all as much as we can throughout the 10 days. In the event of either of these closing early we’ll announce it over the PA before doing so.

Parking

You’re welcome to use the venue’s customer car park or street parking, but please refrain from parking in the staff parking area unless authorised by Jimmy or Venue staff.

Staff Only Areas

We’re so excited to have you all at BrewDog, but please remember we’re a licensed venue. We ask that BPAC participants please refrain from venturing into BrewDog staff only areas, or past the pallet fence.

Coffees

If your comp starts before the venue opens on any day, please be mindful that coffees/teas etc may not be available straight away, depending on our staff levels as we set up each morning. Once we give the all clear they can be ordered from the main bar (near the coffee machine).

See you all on Friday!!!!!

Love from Team Brewdog xx

We have confirmation that we will have a JJP Toy Story 4 machine on site during BPAC, thanks to Pinball Sales Australia.

Unsure as to whether or not it will be used in some of the events as yet, or just available to play over the 10 days.

As part of the BPAC festivities, we held our first ever Norbert Snicer Teams Tournament after the completion of the Classics Matchplay qualifying tonight. This was designed to be a light hearted way to finish off a big day, as well as our way to honour the great living legend to pinball in Australia that is Mr. Norbert Snicer.

We were able to get 32 players to take part, which meant that everyone was split into 8 groups of 4 at random.

Due to the long day, we only managed to sneak in 3 rounds. At the end of those rounds, we had 2 teams tied at the top on 19 points. To break the deadlock, each team had to select one player to battle it out in a single head-to-head game, highest score wins the event for their team. Due to the nature of the event, and the friendly banter that has been going on through the night's contest, the tie-breaker game chosen was by myself, which ended up being Total Nuclear Annihilation (TNA).

Team 2, represented by Jonathan Chabowski would ultimately take down Team 3's Paul Jones (after a couple of handy lock steals) to take out the overall win for his team.

Final results were as follows:

1st - "Team 2" (19 points) - Jonathan Chabowski - Jason Lynch - Nicolas Noben - Belinda Clissold

2nd - "Team 3" (19 points) - Jessica Lea DeNardo - Alex Henriksen - Paul Jones - Cailin Ferguson

3rd - "Team 7" (15 points) - Adam Newton - Kim Piercy - Daniel Stachowicz - Pierakim Lambda

4th - "Team 6" (14 points) - Tyson Hargreaves - Chad Bolitho - Dirk Booy - Nathan Brant

5th - "Team 5" (13 points) - Ross Pattison - Kieran Braden - Greg Field - Georgina Benger

6th - "Team 8" (9 points) - Brett Wheeler - Grant Quinn - Rob Hoggard - Jason Tedesco

=7th - "Team 1' (6 points) - Nicolas Aizier - Tim Bragg - Terry Hunt - Chris Sommerville

=7th - "Team 4" (6 points) - Stephen Bardell - Lisa Conroy - Alix McLean - Steven Riding

Today is Day 4 of BPAC 2022 - otherwise also known as Day 1 of being offsite from the main venue at Brewdog.

Today's pinball tournament will be held in the depths of the Netherworld. Qualifying will now be open from 11am, instead of the originally advertised 12 noon. We would love as many of you to arrive as early as possible to get your qualifying scores, as it will get busier the later the day goes on.

Yes that's right - Netherworld BPC tournament will now be open from 11am today.. Bar will be open, however the kitchen will be unavailable. Players are welcome to bring along their own food, order in, etc.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again (not so) bright and early today!

BPAC 2022 now moves into Day 5, with players heading to the fabulous Gold Coast for the Big Bash event.

Play will kick off at 10.30am with Target Matchplay qualifying rounds, and the first 16 players to reach the target score of 40 points will advance to the finals.  The Top 4 qualifiers will also receive a wild card for the finals, which gives players one opportunity to replace any machine of their choosing throughout finals if they wish.

Our hosts for today are The Park @ Coomera, in conjunction with the Park'N'Plunge pinball club and are looking forward to welcoming everyone along to today's event.

Live scores can once again be found on Matchplay here:
https://matchplay.live/kw8b2

No streaming for today unfortunately, however we'll see if we can organise a live video of the final later on.
