Well, putting the Tommy briefly up for sale made me really see what an opportunity I was missing by not doing this project, so here goes.. The plan is to go as high end as an amateur can. This is my first resto so it will be no Brian Kelly or HEP. But their work and plenty of others here has inspired me. Starting machine is better than average. And I had already done a bunch of easy stuff like new armour and some boards. Edited September 27, 2021 by TimeBandit
TimeBandit
This is the big deal.. the Kruzman cleared NOS playfield. This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. TimeBandit
I started about three days ago. It took me two days to get the playfield stripped. I have spent a day polishing ramps. I'm going for a high shine but not mirror quality. This is how many I have done. TimeBandit
First pop bumper rebuilt. I really like the idea of giving the bumpers their own connectors. They can be removed like any other mech later. I will do the same with the flippers. I hate how these are soldered into the harness.
