If you hadn't figured out already the lube is for the stepper screw in the building mech.

Got my first billion+ score and got to fight two of the level two battles.

Wow and I thought my 272m that I haven';t gotten close to since was impressive. I've got a long way to go to catch up to you. Assuming this is on a standard 3 ball game?

I am struggling getting past 350 million, got there a few times but not pas it. I need to work out the best strategy. When is the best time to use the heat ray? I did it once during Godzilla Multiball and ended up with about 100 million, is it better with heat ray during battles or the multiballs?

3 ball. I got 1 extra ball though.

My average scores are waaaaaaaaaay less! There is likely some massive jackpots being added but im too busy to notice which ones score the most points!

I was using heat ray for particularly hard to hit shots or use them early to get extra time. I struggle with the far left spinner more than anything.

Last 10 games or so i'd been focusing on single monster battles to understand how I should be completing them.

I feel like there could be tons of extra analytics added for game though.

How long each game went for? I felt this 1b game went for ages.

Graph of scoring over time.

Achievement numbers are way too low. 47 plays in and more than 1/2 way already.

I did mine this morning that way. Gotta say it's bloody slow. I've got fast internet available to the machine and it took 50 mins just to download, when update files normally take about 6 mins to d/l on the pc. I went away and came back a full hour later only to find still installing the update. So don't use the IC method if you're in a hurry to play the new code.

same. Spent that time installing some plastic protectors.

Apparently it goes faster if you're plugged into the ethernet port. Havnt tried it myself. Seems weird that it would make any difference at all.

Still better than copying to a usb.

Yeah it is odd as the wifi adapter is defintely N600 2.4G + 5G capable. Could be a shitty quality network interface chip on the mainboard maybe.

At this point I don't know if I can say it's better since half time I read about an update, I'm sitting at my PC with a trusty USB stick right next to me that I can load while doing other stuff then walk down to my gamesroom and plug in.

EDIT: I Googled the Panda PAU09 wifi adapter. It sells for all of $US40, so it's not surprising the performance is average. I was reading so Amazon reviews where people say it's 5Ghz peformance is behind a 10 year Intel Centrino wifi chipset. With that said there seems to be very few other driverless options for adapters, so it does get recommended on various sites. I've order an Alfa AWUS036ACH that costs all of $58 to try out and see if it goes any faster.

Installing update now

Insider was a pita for me but got there, had to create new qr code.

Concurr with others download is slow.  It is a chunky file though at 4+ gigs.

Update success,  the godzuki screech freaked me out, lol.

Time to destroy Tokyo

I was right next to the speakers when it did it to me. It then did it again upon start up.

Reminded me of the jjp start up pops, makes you jump if you aren't ready for it.

Finished painting and now just test fitting this guy, needs to be cut a little bit to fit under the glass and not impact the building mech.

Might redo his eyes are they're a bit derpy.

Eyes recolored and redid some of the colors to match the backglass more.

Probably took longer cutting bits off to make it fit the mount than to paint it.

Anyone interested in a large 10" godzilla model like the one put in my machine further back in this thread?

Looks like somehow ordered two and with 2 month shipping I'd totally forgotten about it.

https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B00H48PX94/

Brand new and unpainted. Original cost + shipping. Otherwise I'll just send it back.

If you want it painted like mine we can have a chat. 🙂

Wow yeah. God I can only imagine how long it's going to take via IC when I get home tomorrow. Swapping out wifi adapters for another better rated one that's also Linux compatible that I'd ordered to try out. Of course didn't work. However, worked fine in JJP so now I'll consider it an upgrade to that machines TP link nano usb wifi.

Geez I just got home and completely forgot to switch on Godzilla to update( until just now an hour later now that I'm sitting at the PC), despite hanging around my gamesroom for 15 mins. Makes me feel like just downloading the file the old way on to USB instead walking across to my gameroom. May as well do that now and take 10 mins instead losing another hour or however long lol.

New code updated (really easy with the wifi). Changed all rubber to Titans, adjusted all coil power to my liking, waxed her up, added Wizard Mods art blades, speaker panel and lockdown bar accent and I’m ready to go😎7A74A903-D66C-4147-84EC-1D49DD400BFD.thumb.jpeg.b6e67f43e4f2fefb387f27007188ab50.jpeg7ABA5E04-D6BC-43C7-8517-96BFA0DE2578.thumb.jpeg.ff96e538b141a7780b0d5e06d5168e7d.jpeg0F834631-7DE6-4449-A5A7-5E5670F5CA95.thumb.jpeg.f41063a23b0a343bf43c7d51e61ce712.jpeg5215B86B-6A0F-4B1B-A795-59DC04526968.thumb.jpeg.f24f81d2cc68b221f66e46a7b0da467d.jpeg

How does Godzilla compare to Jurassic Park? I'm really keen to play this game. Considering a Pro even though it's missing the collapsing building and bridge etc.

Cheers!

Adam.

Both are great. My JP premium is still one of my current fav machines. Godzilla though is another step up I reckon. Can't offer any real insight on the Pro, other than I'd definitely miss the building and bridge. The building is such a satisfying part of the game.
