spaceballs
Over 10yrs ago!!! I bought a flat pack kit of Troy from Arcadeworx. The side art needs to be printed again as it's since come off but I can't find his details. I wanted to ask about the dimensions as the cab would be difficult to measure correctly and give to a printer. Does anyone have his details? Is he still around? Could anyone help me out with dimensions please? Cab photo attached (not mine, but style is the same)

stuzza
I think I might still have a side template for that cab. I did artwork many years ago for a local who I believe bought one of these. Message me your email and I can help you out.

Hazy
Hi guys, Stuzza I know this post was from a couple of years ago now, but any chance I could get my hands on a copy of this template? I also purchased one of these cabinets quite a few years back and want to get new artwork installed but as we all know unfortunately Arcadeworx is no more. Any help is appreciated guys. troyus
Google sent me here! I turned on my cab today after I fixed it and my LCD has a white screen of death. Any idea on how to replace it? I ordered the flat pack with the LCD installed back in the day. Cheers

Cheers What sort of gameboard is in it? Cabs pretty simple so its probably the PSU or the Gameboard itself that died.

Na its an arcade cab made by arcadeworx. It runs of an old ass PC that I have still running. The cab has a 27inch screen in it that has been mounted. I think the monitor has had the plastic case removed and the remaining parts have been mounted. This monitor / LCD has a permanent white screen now. Try the computer on another screen, try another computer on the cabs screen. Being PC based try doing the common trouble shooting stuff like reseating the ram, Is the PC psu fan spinning? can you play the machine blind?

troyus
Looks like I have to buy a 27inch monitor, hope its the rights size, pull it apart, hope I dont break it and mount.
namastepat
You actually might get lucky enough to find a 27 inch monitor that fits in without being decased. Heaps of 27 inch monitors how have basically no bezel, like 2-3mm either side of the screen. Go and check out some bezel-less screens online and take note of their total width measurements. You might find one that just fits in.
troyus
I found an add for two dell u2700 monitors for $100 and got dad to buy them for himself. I then snagged his old monitor which fits perfectly in the arcade cab and it now works! Still running winxp on a single core early 2000's tech. And an AGP video card haha
