Finals:

*Top 16 players paired into teams of 2. Highest qualifier earns the right to choose their doubles partner, with the rest to be decided by highest/lowest seed pairings.

*Team seeds will be based on the player with the highest seeding.

*Each team will play a best-of-3 head to head match against another team, highest seed always playing against lowest seed. Matchplay will determine machines used for each match, highest seeded team gets to determine play order.

*Winner of each game is based on the total combined team score.

*In the event a best-of-3 match is tied 1-1 after 2 games, the final game of the match shall be played as a split-flipper game.

*The winning team is the last remaining team in the event.

And for one final twist……

Look at Pinberg and all other major event venues and see what I mean.

The Pinburg venue was expensive and the event lost $300K a year for several years sending the whole organisation broke, they had to sell off the $1M PAPA collection to pay for it.

Hey team

Figured it would be a good time to chat about the covid in the room.

Please be assured that the BPAC committee is doing everything it can to ensure that, should the worst happen, i.e. a lockdown the day of or during BPAC, we are limiting our spending to the nth degree.

Fortunately, Brewdog and Hutchos are helping with some of the material costs of the event and most of the design costs were paid for last year with the remaining capital from 2019. We will do everything in our power to have the ability to refund tickets in full come a lockdown, but please be aware that a very small percentage may inevitably be held back.

Should a lockdown come late also, it's likely that merch will already be printed so refunds will be issued minus merchandise, which will be mailed out or collected from Netherworld.

If we are hit with a similar scenario to last week in which we have a mask mandate and limited capacity, we are very blessed in that the room at Brewdog is near 3000 m2, so even if were limited to 1 person per 4 m2, we could still fit 400+ people in the space.

The link for tickets will be thrown up in the next few days.

Stay safe mates

I'd really like to go and just play and check out all the games catch up with guys and have drinks..what is the best option? No interest in comps or deadlines etc, just playing and socialising? Happy to donate to the cause...

General public are welcome all day everyday at the venue to hang out and watch proceedings. The majority of the time the machines will be off limits for competition though an area may be roped off in which non-competition players can play some fee games for a small fee.

There are also 4 free play sessions listed on the calendar in which anyone can come along and hang out in the space and play free games all night for $20.

There will also be 7 machines on coin drop in the main bar
