New Mancave AKA The New Shed !

So, having way to many pins in the house, 3 in bedrooms , 3 in the front lounge and other arcade items stacked everywhere. I have bit the bullet ( or pinball) and am getting a new shed made to go onto the front of the old shed ! So an extra 7 x 9mtrs of floor space.I will also have a path from the house to the shed to make moving everything easy. Then I can move all the toys out of the house and create some domestic bliss for the family ! The Covid restrictions in Vic have made the whole process a tad tricky and delayed it heaps.

I had to remove my great peach tree( which I will miss) and rip down my existing lean too shed to make way for the new one. I have also had to make the "Jurassic Park" gate at the back to make it easier to access my site. The extistng back fence is 10ft high and 40mm thick !!!!! made by the council. So each half of the gate is about 200kg ! Thus the huge frame to hold it and some seriously engineered hinges for it ( thanks @OzBlackKnight ) So the meccano kit which is the shed rolled up yesterday....next step is to get the slab poured.....Yippy. Also a big shout out to my site Supervisors Doc and Drax !

*sees bunnings sign* omg! Location location location!

We where super happy when Bunnings built this to compete with a "Masters hardware" that had opened up just near it !!!! Was hoping for a Dan Murphy and Jaycar to also open up in the shops next to Bunnings, but that did not happen :cry

You're better off pouring the slab after the shed is built, it will make the shed stronger and it's better for water proofing. Think about a small toilet / bathroom aswell, much easier for parties:)

Plant a new peach tree right now! Get it 2 yo on dwarf root stock so you can be eating fruit a couple of years from now. Don’t wait, should be planted in winter.

I have got a whole heap of seedlings off the original tree. They will go out back and give me peach tree V2.0 , pity about the wait though. It grew awesome tasting peaches.....

Path is great idea.

Looking good :)

I have to wheel a Disc's of Tron Environmental Cabinet from my Garage to this shed to restore it ( 180ft) the path is well worth it :) Not to mention 8 pinballs from the house will then go live there ! That path is going to get plenty of use.....

Must be so many ball jokes to go with that pic but can't frickin think of one. :unsure

Disappointed with your paths though. Why isn't there one from the gate across the the grass so I have paved access from my factory? I might get muddy shoes now. :realmad::lol

That has been suggested by a mightier power than you !
