As per the recent reintroduction of IFPA points earning - I can confirm that ParkNplunge will earn IFPA points for August through to November (December will be a muck around "breakup" probably a pingolf format).

So ... for the moment, MONDAY NIGHT (9th August) is on!

But this is a day by day situation we're all following closely I'm sure. We live in hope the lockdown will ease or be lifted on Sunday, but what restrictions on gatherings remain we probably won't know until Sunday rolls around ...

ANYWAY - regardless there will also be a SPECIAL competition on Saturday 14th to welcome "The Mandalorian" Pro into The Park Coomera - this is planned as a 5 strikes knockout starting around 10am. Further details to follow once we get official words about restrictions after Sunday.

THIS Saturday 14th August we will be holding a special "welcome" party/competition for "The Mandalorian".
Check-in from 10am, competition start time 10:30am (sorry no late arrivals due to the competition format).
This will be a STRIKES format with a minimum of 5 rounds (specifics to be sorted depending on how many turn up) - players who get knocked out are welcome to continue on other machines not being used.
Depending on how the rounds travel I'd expect us to be wrapped up around 2:30<>3pm

Hope to see you there 🙂

We have one final meeting this year falling on the coming Monday 13th December.
This will be our Christmas breakup with PIZZA and social comp only - no IFPA points for this one.
We'll be taking part in a round of "pingolf" ... what is pingolf? I'm glad you asked, each "hole" (machine) has an objective to reach rather than getting your best possible score to beat out others. Each ball required to reach that objective is a "stroke", reach the objective on ball one - that's a hole in one (1 stroke). Ball 2, that's a birdie (2 strokes). Ball 3, that's par (3 strokes). If you don't reach the objective that's a "bogey" 4 strokes.
The person with the least number of strokes over the course is declared the winner. I expect us to be finished a tad earlier than normal, hopefully around the 8:30pm mark.
Hope to see you there!

Bang a gong, lets get it ON!
Yes, our first meeting scheduled for Monday 10th January is ON - however I am expecting this one to be a bit more subdued with people still away on holidays and the various covid shenanigans.
Remember - you MUST wear a mask.
- you must check in with the Qld app.
- you must STAY HOME if you are feeling unwell!
Note also there are no IFPA points up for grabs this month at PnP but there will be for February through November.
