... Go Karts now has Metallica pro... pretty nice machine.. a bit worn and one flipper a bit weak... one of the multiballs didn't seem to be working either... Laser Tag now has an awesome Ghostbusters machine which I'm busting to get back & give a proper workout... No pins inside Barcadia now but just outside in the Super Strike lounge there is an AC/DC Pro & a Batman 66 Premium

**Edit - after getting back for another proper session on Ghostbusters I can unfortunately say that the left scoop has a nasty fault... It catapults every ball at speed... straight down the centre drain. I had about 10 games & lost maybe 50% of my ball to that malfunction.. no matter what I tried I couldn't get a flipper on a single one.

I always update Pinball Map with any info on venues I come across... I will check out more around Newcastle as I get time... and try to get down to Sydney a bit too

I had time this weekend to check out a few more venues in the area.. was especially pleased on Saturday to find an Avengers machine to have a good bash on for first time in over a month & also found a GOT machine to play for the first time.. both machines were in great order

I went to Mayfield today.. Enjoyed a few credits on Guardians of the Galaxy at the Beauford... great machine.. I really enjoyed it.. I almost ran out of time to get up to the bowling club to check out their machines.. but I'm glad I took the extra time to go there... I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the 2 machines onsite (Elvira's House of Horrors Premium & Metallica Pro).. Elvira is a really nice machine.. smooth as silk.. and this was the 3rd or 4th Metallica machine I've played & the first one that I've found in excellent condition.. I really enjoyed a good hitout on that.. it's a great game when everything is working properly.

I also dropped into the Crown & Anchor Hotel in CBD... because I'm pretty sure I remember playing an AC/DC machine there in 2019... but they didn't seem to have a machine there now 

Had a fun day out.. The bus ride through Mayfield was almost as entertaining as the pinball lol

If you were catching the bus through I would have stopped at the Hamilton Station Hotel. They have a Godzilla Premium. Owned by the same operator as Mayfield Bowling Club. He also had the ACDC at Crown and Anchor but obviously not there now.

Aaaah.. good info... thanks.. I will keep that in mind next time I'm over that side of town.. after having such a great day on those machines yesterday.. this arvo I went up to my usual ninja turtles machine just up the road thinking I'd be in high score form... man.. that machine is brutal... super tight fisted on the replays & very hard to keep the ball alive.. I threw the usual 10 bucks at it & I doubt I was there as long as even 1 credit on any of the 3 machines yesterday.... walked out gutted lol

I've been watching some of the Brisbane Masters footage from I think last year ? or year before... I was watching your (if I've got the right person) match against Steve Bowden today.... if not for the exploit on the first game... you likely had that 3 zip... very very unlucky to go out & played a massive match... that tournament looks extremely well run.. I've only been finding out about a lot of this stuff since I got back to Newcastle last month.. during the broadcast they gave you a shout out about doing lots of twitch streaming... I started trying to find that & then got distracted.. I'll take another look..

I like it over Mayfield way.. did a bit of work around there in 2019... had a couple of loose acts on the bus yesterday but ya can get them anywhere lol

I don't do any twitch streaming but always tune in for Netherworld twitch streams. 

Ah yes, my match against Steve Bowden. I thought I had won that first game. You can see me go and plunge the ball and go to walk away thinking I had won. Thought his score was 100,000 not 1 million... Less said about the way that match was played the better.

That's brilliant news about Marshall & Daughters... coffee & pinball are two of my favourite things so I'll be keen to support that whenever I can... I heard a whisper late last week about the Avengers machine being there & was able to get into town on the weekend to have a few games on it.. that will be a great little venue if they get a few more machines on site.. I also had time to give Godzilla a bash at Hamilton Station Hotel... First time seeing a lot of these machines & there are still a lot more well known ones that I'm yet to play... I'll get back over that side of town as soon as I can..

It's good to know there are plenty of quality machines tucked away... hopefully we find some more hidden gems yet.

@Doug11 yeah was in there last week , hoping on a slim chance a Foo would be there. Walked all around and Beatles was moved from the centre to the back about 3-4 weeks ago but nothing last week. The beatles had some issues with parts lose getting knocked around the playfield.

I was up at Charlie yesterday and looked again and Beatles was tucked in the back near a big window looking south -  so my mistake

It was missing some pop bumper parts but not floating around the game like a month ago.

Don’t worry Jady it took me ages to find it as well. I was at Timezone Kotara today and looks like maintenance is not a priority there as well.

Yeah the Kotara machines are in disappointing condition... for 2.40 a pop we could expect a bit better

Went out to Raymond for a look tonight.. I was very pleasantly surprised to walk in and see a bank of 4 machines along the back wall of the games area.. had a fun session there for a couple of hours.. They've got 

Avengers Infinity Quest Pro (A couple of small glitches with double ball release happening occasionally & sticky tower lock not letting ball go as expected... also the most sensitive tilt bob I've ever encountered making it very very tough to stop ball taking the out lanes.. still great machine & good practice)

Munsters Pro (Seemed to be working fine apart from skill shot lane lights.. I don't like Munsters as much as the others so only ran one credit on it)

Tales of the Arabian Nights (Sensational find.. first time to play this classic & I absolutely loved it.. in very good order for a 1996 machine)

Spider-Man (Stern 2007) First time to play this one also... great game! Loud and everything seems to be working well.

All machines are set to $2 per credit for 5 balls a game... also all very generous on the replays (dunno about Munstres) making it a good value hit out
