What pins have been coming thru the Dedshed

Recommended Posts

Pinched the rest of the bluish white leds from my Playboy inserts,(toned it down a bit) and finished the gi.

Fixed the gi wiring and post rubbering at the top playfield.

Re attached the remaining ramp assy and plastics after polishing.

Cleaned the under play field insert boards, added leds and cleaned inserts.

Also added the playfield hinge spacers and bolted them up, (from where I pinched them for the previous game).

Did some play testing and plays great.

Had to do 1 switch adjustment only. That's a first.

Pulled out the translite, cleaned it and both sides of the glass.

Pulled the display, cleaned it and the back of the display panel plus all the filth in the backbox.

All that's left to do now is

- top pf flipper kit

- add the correct coil stops

- replace a couple bats

- play test and tweak.

and this one is done.

While I was at it , I started on the next game.

Had a loose top backbox light board hinge.

Took him out, persuaded it a bit until tight and sent it back in.

Also adjust the height of the light board to line up the jackpot inserts.

Hey mate could you wrap the GI wiring around a few more things :lol

Ha.

Yeah it drags up the side when you lift the playfield, probably why it breaks.

It only up and under each rubber once, so not over board.

And it won't scratch up the mirror blades either.

  • 2 weeks later...

Swords is off home tomorrow, so it's a night of play testing and tweaking.

Added the superband post rubbers. Went with orange.

Swords of Fury is 99% complete. It stayed here waiting for mirror blades. Changed out the top flipper spring and a new sleeve again, added an external return spring.

Top flipper now completes top ramp properly.

Sent home High Hand instead.

Next up is

Cyclone

This is in ok condition.

BG faded

Needs flippers looked at.

Sling plastics.

Leds

Strip and clean.

First up was to look up the wheel colours in the BG. It was that faded.

Then installed the correct colour leds.

Here you can see some of the difference on the BG.

The BG inserts were out of alignment, so fixed the top hinge and adjusted the height of the light board to line up better.

@Dedrok can you take SoF to Pinfest

Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade

Not mine. It's going back home soon.

However, my numbers have been cut down to 3 as we have more contributors.

I was taking my 5 LEs, but now undecided.

I have earmarked South Park to go as one.

Thinking of taking Transformers as it looks fkn great now.

Did the target bank strip / clean and added a new decal.

a1238477b0d424a6e8e4929ecd344618.jpg

A few final tweaks and some test games and I think she's done.

Just need to do the new 240V lead, stand up target decals and mirror blades and it's off home with Cyclone.

That will be Swords, Cyclone and my dear ol STLE out in the same batch. Owner will be stoked.
