What do you consider a MINT machine and what do you consider a RARE machine?

Recommended Posts

I,ve read many threads on here regarding these subjects. A lot come from ext auctions that people have a go at that i've seen(and me too for that matter).

Just after your opinion of what you think MINT pin should be?

To me a mint machine is one you slide out of the box.

MINTY, now theres another interesting one, what is a MINTY machine?

RARE....Does this come down to how many were made?

From wiki:

Mint condition is an expression used in the description of pre-owned goods. Originally, the phrase comes from the way collectors describe the condition of coins. As the name given to a coin factory is a "mint", then mint condition is the condition a coin is in when it leaves the mint.[1] Over time, the term "mint" began to be used to describe many different items having excellent, like-new quality.

So a mint machine is one that has no fade, no damage. Basically it would pass/nearly pass as a NIB but has been used.

Mint is one persons idea of describing his repairs

NIB is not mint – it’s new and that’s it , all new machines might have defects

This is rare

LOL @ NIB is not mint... no its New, which is better then Mint! Mint is as close to new with very few defects.

Um No... that is Extremely Rare! what do i base that on? um well you can't buy one from anyone or anywhere.
