Super Moderator Foot Posted July 17, 2008 Author Super Moderator Share Posted July 17, 2008 Ok, some more progress. See it wasn't a year this time. Legs are made from 31.8 X 31.8 ERW tube same as the originals. Made at work by the Fitter and I. Powder coated in Satin black. These will be fitted with new chrome feet and tarted up bolts on the weekend. http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/DerekFoot/legsraw.jpghttp://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/DerekFoot/LAILegs.jpg Glass clips. Well after I destroyed my original ones when cleaning them up (I got pissed and lazy, dropped them in some acid to remove some stuff and forgot they were there, tin foil clips :redface) I ended up making some of my own. I couldn't find the size tube I wanted so I folded my own out of a flat piece of scrap steel. Shaped them up and drilled them. Powder coated in Satin Black. (stupid bubble wrap makes them look all lumpy) http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/DerekFoot/Clipsraw.jpghttp://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/DerekFoot/Clipsfinished.jpg New glass will be ready Monday or Tuesday Getting dam close to being finished now :D
