Hey all, bought the Pandora’s box, went to play my fav’s and the screen cuts. Now I know that it’s because there vertical games and my blast city crt is horizontal but is there anything I can do? Or is there a multi in 1 that I can buy solely vertical games which will do full screen? BTW, I’m Not too handy with this shit..ta, Mick…

Will do when I get home… yep adjusted to my crt.  Just I think because the old school games I like are vertical. Eg galaga, gyruss, donkey K.. they go narrow from centre of screen

What you are showing is normal. You do not want vertical games to display in a stretched format on a horizontal screen, they look terrible like that.

If you want to play vertical games with the whole screen filled, you need a vertical orientated monitor.

MAME can stretch games to fill the screen horizontally, but they look horrific and it's absolutely not the way to play them. No idea if multiboards like Pandora's can do that stretching, buts it's 100% something you don't want to do anyway.

If you only want to play vertical games, sure. But I don't know if Pandora's can be set to vertical mode, to run games in full screen vertical. MAME can, but Pandora's like this are made for horizontal cabs.

Also, the large majority of arcade games are horizontal. If you only have one cab, it's common to run it as horizontal and play the vertical games scaled to a horizontal screen resolution.

There are vertical multiboards out there like the king of air board series and a few others.
