Dredd
Bringing the half beast half motorcycle machine to life has had its challenges but has been worth all the blood sweat tears and money . Arguably one of the best ballys of the era and sits well next to Flaah Gordon as the jewels in my humble collection. So the the journey started with the usual re pin all connectors ( molex ) . Fix all faults . Flipper rebuilds , drop target mechs and the like then progress to polishing all the metals even down to the screws . List of things replaced New warm white and coloured insert Leds New boards ( all exept Squalk n talk rebuilt by Ken) New rails New speaker New era correct legs Flipper buttons New drop targets New plastics New titan rubbers New ribbed plastic posts New paintwork ( pinball pimp stencils) Original stuff cleaned and polished to be as good as it can. Wiring harness and clips Backglass ( mint ) Mechs Backbox light door Coin door Playfield nice original How many hours who knows but once i start i find it hard to stop until everything is stellar. My interpretation of restoration may differ from some but my take is it has to be as good as or better than factory. Im not saying my work is up to HEP standard but easily better than factory. Hope you enjoy the pics Cheers J More pics Edited October 30 by Dredd Typo fixes 7
