Batts
G'day how's everyone going ? I've been a big fan of pinball machines/video games since the late 70's being from Newcastle NSW there were lots of pinny parlors there yrs ago. I bought a pinny acouple of yrs ago Quick Draw all original and working. It's a 25 cent machine I found 3 quarters and 5 x 1 cent pieces some jammed in a slot. It does do a few funny things occasionally like adding a few hundred to 2nd player's score or bonus not working but generally ok. I have had the lights replaced with led but will get it restored one day later on.
Cruiser
Hi Batts, Welcome to AA, hope you enjoy your time here. Yes Newcastle had so many Pinball parlors, I loved "Our Place" (in Charlestown under Tandy's), Orbit 1, Games People Play, just to rattle off a few. Quick Draw is great game !! Thanks I've been in QLD for 20yrs or so but grew up in North Lambton accross the road from Jesmond park. Spent a lot of time at Orbit 1 and all the others stacks of corner shops had pinny's as well. I bought Quick Draw because I have never seen or played it before it's pretty good.

needlebat
Restorations are worse than collecting machines. Like the Torana, it helps if you have a second, or third, and a house and garage and shed full of parts and tools :)

My family were Ford people my first car was a 1978 2.0ltr Escort I've always liked toranas as well. These days you have to appreciate just seeing any old car on the road so many people restoring classics. Edited September 23 by Batts 2

Batts
Yeah the dash is in good nick and the AM only radio that still works speaker under glove box I'll leave it there. I took a dodgy old cassette player out as you can see and will put something in later on and add door and parcel shelf speakers nothing to flash though. Just needs a new indicator stalk.
