Who has built a Voron 2.4 R2?

I have just ordered myself a Voron 2.4 R2 kit and was wondering if anyone else has gone through the process themselves on here?

Im not new to 3d printing and recently upgraded my old Anycubic i3 from Marlin to Klipper in order to get a bit more familiar with it before diving into the Voron CoreXY world.

Have started assembling my new Voron 2.4 r2 with aluminium machined parts for all the functional parts instead of 3d printed.

On the home stretch now. Printing out the final few bits for mounting the rest of the electronics before I can begin the process of configuring klipper.

The printer is alive! Finally got the printer to start doing something, even if it is just moving around doing a quad gantry leveling. 🙂

It’s taken you long enough! 😉 Great work!

Yep I was sick when I first got it and since then I have been crazy busy at work, so its been a slow process.

Finally have the printer working. Still needs a little bit of tuning, but for the first prints I am very happy. The voron cube was printed at around 75 mm/s and the threaded bolt was printed at up to 200 mm/s and it still turned out pretty good.

Well its taken a while, but the unit is pretty much complete now. I have added a couple of rows of led lights to the inside top of the printer so I can remotely view the print with the Pi Camera which is mounted just inside the right front door. I printed out some cable clips which clip into the 2020 extrusion to hide some of the wiring and I got the neopixels in the stealthburner printhead working. 🙂
