  1. Thought I'd start a thread where we can talk about the tables and scoring for this season. I'll go over my notes again for Conquest 200 a bit later as @RusstyTis the current champ we might get a better insight from him. Just updated the score submission page to try and encourage everyone to submit using your mobile as screenshots aren't showing in a large enough format to be read. As each game has a calendar entry with a QR code which takes you directly to the right game, this is the preferred way of submitting so it's consistent between players.
  2. Hi all, Up for sale is my Star Wars Pro - $10.5k. I feel it is a very fair cost considering NiB cost is now $11,950 and I’ve installed over $1k of mods. I’ve managed to sell another -machine which means I now no longer have to sell this pin to fund my new Pin arriving in April. But I will leave the ad up for a little while longer before posting on Facebook and Gumtree. I bought this beauty from Zax Amusements in Melbourne (previously routed by Zak himself for a couple of years in a relatively quiet cinema - 6686 paid credits) - the machine is in extremely good clean and perfect playing condition with no visible wear on playfield and shooter lane looks great also. Machine comes with fully functioning coin mech and a note reader. Since purchasing, I have added the following: -stern shooter rod (storm trooper) -Mezel mod shooter backing plate -Insider connected installed -Shaker motor installed -Mirror Blades installed -Brite buttons illuminated flipper buttons installed (white) -Pin Monk insert colours installed (change plain white inserts from character select, Force targets, and Lightsaber duel inserts from plain white to appropriate colour) -new rubbers -Mezel mods lockdown bar button surround - 2x Star destroyer figures installed on playfield - inlane switch protectors -wizard mod speaker panel magnetic cover -wizard mod flipper bat covers installed -Lenticular 3d apron cards - Stern tournament topper (I kid - but you are welcome to keep if you like!) Let me know if you are interested - happy for in-person inspection or via facetime or video call. Located in Thornhill Park Victoria 3335 - Bill or Shannon have been here before - I may be able to deliver if purchased by a local buyer but otherwise buyer to please organise transport. first to pay deposit will secure the machine - look forward to discussing. Thanks, Sean More photos More photos

  4. *SOLD* Aliens SV pinball machine. Purchased new in box from Mr. Pinball Less than a year old, under 150 plays. Machine plays extremely well, like a new machine should. Home use only and in immaculate condition This machine had a few problems when first purchased (like many SVs did), worked through these problems with Pinball Brothers and sorted them all out. Happy to share pinball brothers help log that I kept a record of. A lot of new Cat6a cables & new USB cables have been install. Has played perfect for a long time now. A great pinball for a great price! Happy to send more pictures or Videos if wanted. Can arrange shipping with Bill. Game is located in Ringwood, inspection most welcome. $10,500 Cheers, Nick

  6. Update 3: SOLD Update 2: last Hail Mary price drop before removing from sale - $9750 Update: Price drop - $10,250 - will consider all reasonable offers Hi all, Up for sale is our restored Demolition in fantastic condition. The reason for the sale is this is my 16 year old daughter’s machine (a way for her to save her part time Job money for her first car) - I told her that she just has to pay for the machine itself and I would fund all the upgrades and work to make it play beautiful. Well we now have the opportunity to repurchase a Stranger Things machine (after I became enemy #1 in my house with my daughters when I sold ours mid last year) so unfortunately a couple of machines will need to go to fund this and my pre- existing purchase commitments that are due to arrive in the next couple of months. Priced at $10,750 ono - I am taking a hit on the upgrades I funded but need to prioritise a quick sale in order to complete the other purchases. I am advertising multiple machines so I do not need all of them to sell, so feel free to put in a genuine offer (maybe purchase multiple from me!) but I won’t respond to any offers that are insulting. Everything works (including all crane functions,) as it should with no errors. Playfield is in fantastic condition - as good as I have seen - shooter lane is fantastic, scoop hole, inlanes and out lanes have no wear. I can’t lay claim to having seen all Demo Man in Australia but you would be hard pressed to find a nicer playfield and everything feels incredibly snappy and smooth like it should. In addition: All decals in fantastic condition Art Blades installed XL HD colour Pin2Dmd installed with new panel (looks like recent CGC remake pins) New speakers with RGB lighting (fully adjustable) New sheet of Widebody Vampire Glass installed Full LED changeout with super bright from Pinball Haus Alternative Translite installed - much nicer (original also included in sale) Light up ice blue button mod installed on handles New titan rubbers installed (Light Blue throughout with red post rubbers) Latest Home software ROM installed Swear Roms for audio installed (can censor through settings if required) NVRam installed - no more batteries Full machine service in December 22, including flipper rebuilds Lenticular (3d) Apron cards (look great in person but hard to photograph) Given a bit more time, I was going to either powder coat or chrome the legs, lock down bar and side rails. To be clear, this does not have to be done (personal choice of course) but in my obsession with this machine I would have done it as the lock down bar has small blemish that can be seen at certain angles depending on lighting. Located in Thornhill Park, Victoria (about 35 minutes northwest of Melbourne CBD), I recommend inspection or FaceTime video calls - PM to arrange. Thanks for taking the time to read, Sean

  11. I thought I better put a placeholder in for my restore and for feedback, suggestions and help: https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/91459-My-first-and-new-pinball-in-da-house This is an interesting machine: One of only three 4-player Williams games to have the 2nd player located in the lower left corner of the backglass and the 3rd player in the upper right. Design by: Norm Clark Art by: Jerry Kelley Notes: 'A-Go-Go' was the first machine to use a captive ball spinner, invented by Norm Clark. During the production run, the coin door was changed from the large single-slot to a smaller multiple slot and the drop-down cabinet was eliminated. We do not know how many games were produced in each cabinet style. Reportedly, the January 1967 issue of the German trade magazine Münzautomat stated that the standard cabinet games were Later Production games and were manufactured due to a high demand in Germany. I have the earlier version with the single coin slot and the drop down cabinet. To put it bluntly, the paintwork is completely rat shit. But the timber itself is in fantastic condition so a repaint is on the way. I'll trace the existing and mask/paint which I'm not too bad at. See my minipin as an example: https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/42304-Minipin?highlight=minipin My big question is how do I match the colours when they're so faded? Of course there is no key for the 2 locks on it so I cannot currently open it up. I'm assuming I'll have to drill these out then replace? Can you get original replacements for them? Backglass is also very faded and in the centre a fair bit has come away. I'll have to replace this at some stage. Can I treat with anything to stop it degrading anymore in the meantime? Playfield, is to my untrained eye surprisingly good although one of the roll-overs? looks like it's lifted. Again not surprising for a 52 year old game thats been sitting idle for many years. I can take a closer look once I can get the glass off. The glass is filthy. Unfortunately some clown cut the harness to the back-box, easily repaired but I'm not going near any of the electrics until way further down the restore path. I've already sourced schematics for it so that's a start. Coin door is rusty in places. Do I replace or restore. I'd prefer to restore if feasible. Legs are in shocking condition, so I think they'll need to be replaced =( There's also a ball in the bottom shute Cheers, Brad

  13. Just throwing this out there. Since the site is much easier to navigate now do we really need a Pinball and a New Pinball section or can I merge them into 1? I'm going to be trimming the fat a bit and merging some sections to make the site less busy looking.

  15. Update 18/11/21 - Sold Update 15/11/21 - posted elsewhere and sold pending final payment. Hi everyone, I thought I would post here to give the community a chance before Facebook and Gumtree. I’m on the list for JJP Guns N Roses Limited Edition and have paid my deposit of $1500 with Pinball Sales (Paul) in Melbourne. Contacting him a week ago he has confirmed that delivery is on track before Christmas this year. While waiting I had the opportunity to take the place of someone else’s order (that person had purchased one 2nd hand while waiting) so I jumped on and received my machine last week. Not wanting to cancel the order, I thought someone else might like to buy my place in the queue at cost price. To be clear, $1500 to me now, the residual ($15350) to Paul at Pinball Sales closer to delivery. Thanks, I will leave this ad up for a couple of days before posting on other sites. Thanks, sean
  16. Hi all, I’m after either a Hobbit pinball machine (any trim level considered) or a Stranger Things machine (again, will consider a Pro, Prem, or LE). Located in Melbourne so Victorian sellers preferred but can work will Bill for transport if interstate. Looking at paying a reasonable price for machine (dependant on trim level) so not interested in any offers trying to sell thousands over what they should be valued at (apologies for jaded comment, just had some crazy offers recently). Genuine buyer with cash ready. Thanks!

  20. I've probably been working on this on and off for about 8 months but haven't touched it in at least 4 months or so. I needed to do this on a tiny budget and essentially use what already had with minimal further outlay. I'm determined to finish this bugger off over the next 4-8weeks though and what better incentive than to post about it on here thereby guilting me into a result LOL! Playfield is a 22" widescreen monitor. Backglass is a 19" 4:3. I have left anough room for a 3rd for a DMD but funds won't allow this so I'll do without for now. The overall design is a mix between a woodrail and a Williams but leaning towards more of a woodrail look. The PC has been built for about 12 months with about 50pins divided between Visual Pinball and Future Pinball all running via Hyperpin frontend. It works fantastically and will come up a real treat in the cab. I'm using donated legs rather than wood and will clean them up and possbily paint them. The cab will a look of an older machine and is inspired by this awesome reproduction linked here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2749 I do want a small coin door however to give it a more authentic look. I'm lookin at making some sort of replica. Things left to make are a custom made lockdown bar, speaker bezel, backglass bezel and to mount the PC inside the cab. Parts left to purchase a plunger or make one, side buttons and front buttons. I have some already but they are arcade and not pinball and I'm also looking at getting them backlit instead. I will also need glass cut for the playfield and backglass.
