Revenge From Mars Shaker Looms

Hi guys, with the recent update to v2.x from Jim @ MyPinballs, an option for a physical shaker has been added to the game code - woohoo.

I’ve just purchased a shaker for my RFM and enquired from Jim as to the cost of the looms being shipped to Aussie to hook it up.

He says the loom itself is £25-30 ($40-50AUD), + £15-20 ($25-30) for shipping. Jim reckons we can fit up to 5 looms in a shipment.

If anyone else is interested in getting one, let me know & we might be able to save some cash on postage.

is any of this available for star wars ep 1 ?

Sadly no :( The 2.0+ code updates for RFM that add shaker support are unofficial (fan made) and the same would need to be done for SWEP1.

I hope someone does extend the SWEP1 version to add a shaker motor. I'd be all over it

I’m sure I’ve seen him say somewhere he was gonna look into SWEP1 at some point, but hasn’t as yet.

I'm up for one too please. Is it possible you could point out where you got the shaker motor from? Cheers Dave

I got my shaker from Pinball Warehouse in Brisbane. $175 + $15 shipping to me (but I’m in QLD). It just arrived yesterday and was still NIB - perfect condition.

It’s the Stern Rev B Shaker, which is apparently the one MyPinballs recommends.

Currently room for one more on the list.

You can follow the updates from MyPinballs on his website, Facebook or pinside.

I’ll let you all know here and via PM when I’ve got solid prices and dates.

I was tempted to get a loom in the event of adding a shaker down the road, I do enjoy my rfm and doubt it’ll go anywhere soon. I’d be interested to know how the integration is once you have it set up

Also, here’s installation instructions for the shaker/knocker loom:

And a handy mounting guide:

I found these both on Pinside and meant to print them and put them in the box, but I forgot..
