    Same here.

That way I can’t hear when someone’s machine is broken.

Ha ha or smell the smoke Genie. That’d start Friday arvo wouldn’t it? “Hey Eddy this one won’t turn on...”

While Edy takes a well deserved break I think it's time to mention that while Pinfest encourages and welcomes new games from donors far and wide it is ESSENTIAL that the games turn up ready to go with absolutely no known problems and very ready to go the distance.

We have had in the past (very rarely) games turning up with "oh it must be a blown fuse!!!" and the game looks like shite, needs a re-rubber etc. and expect the local abundance of knowledge to give a free fix and repair service.

Granted things happen in any electrical/mechanical device of these old beast's age when it gets a years pummeling in just one weekend.

Having said that there is always help available should a hiccup happen.

    Thanks Jeff.

Sounds better than my usual “No ... Get Fkd” comments.

    Diplomacy at its best.

I do recall one machine pretty much going straight to the storeroom a few years ago
