If you do nt ask , you donít know.

It was decided a few years back that more floor space for pins would be better.
There are always preorder stuff that gets brought along and some bring bits and pieces just in case.

    From the Pinfest website:

This is not a sale or auction, however, some machines may be on private sale and will have for sale information on them. Any sale of a machine is done so as a private sale and does not contribute to the charity of the event. Newcastle Pinball Association and Club Macquarie are not responsible in any way for any purchases of pinball machines that happen at or as a result of Pinfest.

So yes, if you plan on buying something if it takes your fancy... bring the ute.

    Pretty much yes.
People have sale prices on machines if they are selling.

    Bring the Ute.

Yep there are usually games up for sale, Needing some quick $$ i reluctantly stuck a for sale sign on my Roller Disco last year while at Pinfest, got a few bites but it didn't sell on the weekend.. it sold soon as i got it home.. to someone who wasn't even there!

Even if a pin doesnít have a for sale sign on it thereís nothing stopping you from having a chat to the owner. Two pins I sold recently were to people who saw them at Pinfest and had their eye out for them ever since. And I donít wanna talk out of my hat but I think an AMD Deadpool sold at the last Pinfest so maybe you could take a Black Knight home with you ;-) at a discount with a 1000 plays but save on freight. :-)

Played Black Night at Coolie, i don't want one.

I'm looking at older machines now, i want to have a collection where all the machines are different to each other. My Hobbit plays very differently to Deadpool, but i wouldn't have a Munsters because the Hobbit plays similarly to that.

Same reason i wouldn't have an Iron Maiden or similar that plays similarly to the Deadpool.

I find myself really attracted to the older, sometimes simpler machines and will walk past most of the more modern machines to play something with mechanical score reels.

I really want to have a collection that shows the machines off and one that pleases me with machines that i really like to play.

I've been lucky twice so far buying sight unseen and never having played an example of the game, but i don't want to keep letting it ride on that bet
