Chicago coin twin skeet shoot restoration

Recommended Posts

Hey all

I have picked up a twin skeet shoot.

I have always wanted a em gun game so jumped on this one.

Machine powers up and i can start a game.

Going to start with the scenery area.

First question that may answer the second aswell.

Does twin skeet shoot use a standard fluro or a white black light for the lighting of the scenery area

I would like to repaint the metal parts and the base board of the scenery area but unsure if I should use UV paint or not.

Will be replacing all the bushes hopefully i can find something similiar at my local hobby shop. Screenshot_20190430-110208.thumb.jpeg.760f9930b59cef36b962bbefcdd01664.jpeg20190511_145456.thumb.jpeg.0b84c2d20fc9cf2b03d440551cb36ebd.jpeg

There are a couple of Youtube video's showing this machine using a black light. Does the machine have 2-3 moving arms for the flying disks?

The scenery area appears to be UV paint.

I'm looking forward to this resto, good luck.

Pull the score reel panel out today.

Going to start pulling them apart to clean up.

Found two williams coils hacked in there one burnt to a crisp.

Two tracks on the same reel looks to have been cooked in the process and someone has tryed to hack them back together.

I'll clean it up and see if i can salvage the board.

Waiting for the wiring diagram and books to arrive before i do too much 20190514_134037.thumb.jpeg.829695096aae6a8e4cbd4777d706a9cf.jpeg20190514_133338.thumb.jpeg.54b63f0888acdd3e06225d871c01ccbc.jpeg

Side of score reel damage

So it should be a black light.

Should it be a standard black light or a white black light.

Any recommendations on where to get a replacement. https://www.aussiearcade.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=147970https://www.aussiearcade.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=147971https://www.aussiearcade.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=147972

If the contacts don’t run over the tracks then just repair it neatly and it will be fine

If your really fussy you can buy stick on copper track and then just solder over it
