Streets of rage 2 build

Thats really cool.

Can you explain the bits of the puzzle?

SMD into a Jamma interface into 1 side of the switcher?

Which interface is it?

Setup:

Sega Genesis > 2-way jamma switcher (riddledtv) < Sega Mega-play board.

The jamma switcher is switched via holding P1 & P2 start buttons down for 1.5 secs.

Both boards are connected to external amp with a stereo setup.

I have 8 sega megaplay games on two multicarts.

And I added the megadrive in to save on setting to free play and to avoid the cabinet getting boring with the option of playing the entire (3-button) megadrive game library.

I have a line doubler and scan line generator inside but currently not in use because I can’t get the line doubler to work (maybe faulty) therefore it’s running at 15k (not full screen).

*The jamma interface used is by retrokidz that I purchased from vector-labs.com*

Any other questions let me know

Thanks

Thanks so much for taking the time to explain.

I've had in my head to do a Streets of Rage Trilogy build one day.

Yes,

I was gonna theme the cabinet on the whole trilogy, but I decided to dedicate it to streets of rage 2 specifically because It is the only game in the series that had a true arcade port. It takes coins per life and hi score saves.

Streets of rage 1 was released on megatech. But that was a time based machine so the game itself is the same as console version.

This was also my other motive to have the genesis in the cab too, so I can have the whole series in the cab as well
