Andrew your 100% correct, the left hand extra ball registers the switch hit but no ball given. I have no idea yet as to why but I'm guessing a connection issue to either the Flippp P1 cpu board or a tranny on the driver board. The the right hand extra switch works fine & an extra ball is awarded by the way!

So technically you should have beaten @Cursed hi score by a lot. Sorry Andrew.

That's really odd. I wonder if there's a bug in the code? Something like the EB awards points instead of EB feature isn't correctly implemented? Are there settings for that kind of thing?

I re-did all the menu options and everything now works correctly, when I got to the Extra ball option it was OFF this doesn't explain why it awarded an extra ball on the right side switch. I think the Flippp P1 board just had it's first glitch. All good now. Sorry about this Andrew.

All good Doug. We'll just know in our hearts that I beat @Cursed. Should've taken a picture of my 397k score anyway...

Actually, what happens in a comp if a switch is not working?

Fair call but nobody knew there was a problem except Andrew, it had me stumped for a couple of hours. :)

  • 11 months later...

I reported mine as 3 ball as checked that with Doug today.

I'm sure Doug said it was 5 ball last year and year before, hence why I reported my other score as 5 ball.

Oh thanks mate, I honestly could not remember if it was 3 or 5 ball this year let alone the previous years...:lol

Something to do with shots...

Just this years scores as 3 ball then please Mark. @toads
