Inkochnito Posted March 9, 2019 Share Posted March 9, 2019 At the moment I'm working on a Bally Sound Deluxe board of a Heavy Metal Meltdown. The board boots correctly, but doesn't make a sound. Main amplifier works correct, pre amp replaced, no result. With the help of an oscilloscope I've looked at the PIA select and the signal goes all over the place. I suspect a bad PAL chip. 0 Skybeaux Posted March 13, 2019 Share Posted March 13, 2019 Bally were bastards and blew the security fuse when they programmed the pal chip so we can't read it to get its code to program another one.
