jason1
The mothers wax was much better to apply. The blitz wax seemed to leave more residue and was dry / flaking everywhere. The ball glides around about the same. I havent removed the old wax just put more on over the top. The mr sheened pinballs i was playing the other day (including EMs) i have noticed the ball glides very fast. So fast it hits the glass often. The guy said he has used mr sheen for all machines always because it is clean and easy to apply. Not sure how much protection it gives to a non clear coated playfield though. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk Yer mothers wax is amazing to apply and remove. Blitz is oldschool wax so harder to wipe off. Mr sheen would offer no protection at all, Just a cleaner. the ball should not move any faster with mr sheen unless the playfield wasnt cleaned good enough before waxing or the wax isnt wiped off enough. Go wax a bonnet on your car, and throw a towel on it and watch the cloth slide off before and after waxing. If Mr sheen is your cleaning choice, I cant see any reason why you cant use Mr sheen to clean then wax it.
Rob1966
I am going to order new spinner rod and new decals for spinner. Also a new front door lock, flipper rebuild kit, and a few springs. And i have got the super glue for the insert. Everything else is working really well. Like most EMs play it often to keep all the bits in working order.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190324/ff1c1d67745156aee695af2e231ba962.jpg Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk Have a bit of a read of this he talks a little on the inserts http://www.pinrepair.com/restore/2001pf.htm Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
kimbleseven
Sorted the spinner out. The acorn speed nut had been touching the spinner arms. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk
kimbleseven
Thanks Rob. I had a read mate. My inserts are not cupped so should be easy to glue in and get resonably level. Thanks mate. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk

Yer silicone is pretty hard to remove from a surface, that is for sure and yer a Problematic contamination for paint.
