I can go further back;

I bought an Addams off an op and he told me these are bringing good money so he was asking $2200 - Naturally I snapped it up. This went onto buying a lot of other games from him, all for $1800 each.

Some of the titles I remember; PZ , WW, T2 , BSD, ES , FT , Dr.who , TZ - yes TZ and all OZ delivered with manuals and a couple with the goodie bags still in them.

Also 3 Rowe AMI jukes for $1500 each and helped onsell a lot of arcade cab projects to members here for $120 each I think.

Now those were good old days.

Edit; That was back in 06 - 08

I did hear of a story when pinball was dying big time that brand new Monster bash's we almost being given away. Story goes they made way too many for the rapidly declining market and therefore Cactus had only a small run with minimal software.

I bought my 1st ever sight unseen pin from an AA member way back when (think it was 08) in great nick for 3.5K I think - It was an IJ.

There are still very rare, stumble over finds out there.

Old mate mate Mark picked up a bally Playboy for a "tad less" than 3K and we now have the works coming from CPR as a winter project.

Wow, if only we had a crystal ball. Easy money buy-hold-wait-flip. But we could say the same for many things. Would have, could have should have ... story of my life :rolleyes

My first was white water for $1500 from DevoDave.

Sold it few years ago and bought it back recently. (Few months ago) Thankfully for $2700 - the same machine.

Won’t ever let that go again, made me feel like a bad parent.

And I've been saying this for quite some time now but due to the knockon effect who ever is sitting on a good load of system 11 games are likely to hold onto them. some great titles and good playing games.

Any sort of luck people will ignore those old ratty Bally SS games from the 80's with only the one level playfield to keep you entertained.
