Budapest Pinball Museum.

The wife thought I took her to Budapest for the sights the truth was that I wanted to go to Europe's largest collection of pinballs.

I took about 100 photos but thought it would be easier to take a movie.

Goes for about 3 mins.

There are some amazing old pinballs from the 40s onwards and some old shooting and driving games.

I have the Dave's arcade shirt on just for you @zanderzone

This place is as good if not better due to the atmosphere then Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame.

Enjoy.

Thx so much for the tour, i’ve always wanted to see it. How much is entry and are the machines on free play? How did they play, flippers clapped out?
$15 entry and that's for as long as you like between 4p and midnight. You get a wrist band so you can go in and out as many times as you like.

The machines are kept in good condition with only a few flippers under powered.

It was a shame the Hyperball was not working probably.

Thanks for the video gapmaster..what an awesome lineup!

Did you say Oribtor 1 was the worst or best machine ever???

And I like how your woohoo at the end sounds like a siren [emoji106]

Not a fan of orbiter 1. It drives me nuts.

Showed Leanne (wife) the video & all she could say was, "Wonder what he's power bill is like.", That's what went though her mind.

Not Wow! what a fantastic collection but how much money is he spending on power.....I'm guessing he's by-passed the meter. :lol

We stayed next to the Sofitel in an Airbnb which was awesome for $65 a night. Food is everywhere so many choices and beer is a 1/3 of the price. One place the wife got a fanta and it was dearer than beer. The museum you just walk up. Opens at 4pm.

  • 1 year later...

Just visited the Budapest Pinball Museum aka Flippermuzeum and had a ball. (Thanks George for putting me on to this). I went Sunday morning (opens at 10) and had the place pretty much to myself for the first couple of hours. Entry is about $15Aus by old blokes like me get in for $10.

Got to play some classics and, for an EM /SS man, had a go on many "modern" machines that I hear you youngens talking about - I've never played The Hobbit before but was able to set a high score!

To play Humpty Dumpty was special. Some pics to follow.
