Game number twelve for the Australian Arcade Championships!
Also important to note is that ticket sales close on the 28th July, first 50 tickets will come with a limited edition AAC pin.
Tickets can be purchased from http://bnepac.org/tickets/#cmtoc_anchor_id_3

Question. After reading the bpac rules for the comp it says qualifying rounds are limited to 15 minute games and games that exceed this time will be deemed ineligible to qualify. Does that mean you must die before the 15 minute limit is reached?

Nope, you just need to stop playing after 15mins and alert one of the tournament directors so they can register your score.

Another question that perhaps u can answer. The bnepac website doesn't list tron nor metal slug 2 as games that are included in comp that is bugging me as don't want to practice on them if they're not being recognised. Should i put my fears to rest?

Put your fears to rest, the bnepac website currently only lists the 10 initially announced games. The Brisbane Pinball and Arcade Collective Facebook page is where new game announcements are made weekly. I hadn't thought about the bnepac website, so thanks for bringing it up, I'm not sure who manages that website so having it updated weekly may be tricky, but once the entire comp list has been announced I'll make sure the bnepac website gets updated.

An official dips list will be posted on this thread once all games have been announced which should be within the next few weeks. But for the most part, expect all games to be on TGTS settings.

Also, I've been so busy that the last two games announced on the Facebook page haven't been posted here yet. So here are the fourteenth and fifteenth games in the comp.

Am i right in thinking if u get the top 5 rankings on a single machine u can effectively keep the competition out or does it only record ur best effort on any 1 machine?
