Rockola 453 question

scarBrick

Question

Hi,

I’m (trying to ) restore a ‘74 Rockola 453 - in particular the front glass panel which has been smashed (presumably) and replaced with a clear pane of glass.

I’ve done the artwork for a new decal, but guessing a bit on the spacing and size of the little coloured rectangles that make up the centre of the panel.

If any 453 owners are feeling generous, could I please trouble you for the following measurements:

(Little) Rectangle height:

(Little) Rectangle width:

Black spacing between rows (height):

Black spacing between columns (width):

Many thanks,

A couple of years ago I was looking for a hi res photo to recreate the glass as well, but had no luck. My 453 didn't come with the original glass, so I have put in clear perspex with purple cellophane around the fluro and it looks alright. If you do manage to get dimensions or images I would like to get a copy as well if possible.

Also, welcome to AA mate!
