Question

Hy to all of you!

My Rock-ola 484 have this problem:

- i insert the coin

- the 484 set the credit

- i digit the 3 numbers of the record

- the record magasin start to rotate

- the led on the opto-board start blinking

- the timer led on the logic board 53560A blinks

- the record magasin make 3 rounds and then stops in the home position

- 1 credit disappears as you have correct play the record

What can be?

The service manual says that the problem can be in:

- Opto-board

- A-B snap switch

- logic board

- Random the unit short circuit and go away the light in my home, where I can look around to find the reason?

Some integration:

- I have the Service Manual

- I have the part catalog manual

- Here is the photo of my logic board 53560A

- Here there is the video of the problem if can be usefull:

Thanks

Paolo

Thanks

I have bought yesterday all the new integrated on the logic board and now the jukebox pick up, plays and pick down correctly the record, to resolve the short circuit i have found a capacitor fired in the ballast rail of the neon. Cut it and now is ok.

The problem now is that the sound is extremely low even if the volume is turned on max and there is a noise that grow with high volume and stop with volume to zero
