Wanted: non-working dk game and watch

I'm looking for a speaker for a donkey Kong game and watch. It's built into the back cover and about the size of a 20c piece.

If anyone has that part, or a non working dk they want to part with, please pm me, cheers.

I have one stashed away somewhere, it's working but has a name scratched onto the front plate.

If no one else replies shoot me a pm and I'll dig it out, put some batteries in it and test it to make sure the speaker works.

The no sound issue is the very thin metallic coating of the inside plate of the speaker. the speaker otherwise seems to be mainly plastic. One of the speaker wires needs to be in contact with this very thin metal coating for sound to work, and the coating has deterioted over time so much that there is none left to attach the wire to.

Got this DK as non working but these multi screen game and watch are often fixed easily by re-aligning the plastic sandwich layers onto the contacts of the second screen. It's a bit trippy how these things were put together ☺

See how you go, I have a few generic games that may use a similar speaker.

I'll have a look at them later and see if they are the same.
