This is our official thread for Thunderbirds Pinball machines for Australian customers.

 

Highway Entertainment will be distributing Thunderbirds in Australia through its Newcastle office, as well as our agents across Australia. For news and information on where to play, test and purchase please follow this thread. All the latest news and information will be shared here.

We have received the first production model Thunderbirds Pinball machine today and now preparing for the Australasian Gaming Expo.

 

The schedule of this first machine will be;

 

AUGUST

14-16th of August 2018.

Australasian Gaming Expo

ICC Sydney Darling Harbour,

SEPTEMBER

22-23rd of September 2018

Club Macquarie

We will also send this machine to our various agents across Australia for demonstration and open days. Please stay tuned for agency news and further details.

 

Thunderbirds Pinball has just started the production process, we expect to see small numbers of machines coming into Australia starting in October/November, and will work with ALL customers (whether you purchased from Homepin or Highway) for logistics/support.

We are currently working with Homepin to solve Australian customer orders (not purchase from Highway, but directly from Homepin) and will help with all logistics and shipment across Australia.

 

Our office will be contacting everyone over these next 1-2 weeks with schedules and plans on best way to bring the machines into Australia economically.

HOMEPIN PRE-ORDER CUSTOMERS

For all pre-order Australian Homepin customers, our office has already reached out to you via email to discuss options for shipping into Australia. Please help to reply to our team and we will try our best to collate everyones orders into the most economical way into Australia.

 

To make this happen, Homepin will work to release cabinets to us on a state by state basis, and Highway will coordinate all goods to be shipped to Australia and then unpacked into warehouses in major capital cities with options for you to either pickup (or use your own local courier) or, use our courier for door to door service.

 

Please note, this is a FREE service, Highway Entertainment is not charging any handling fees and will work with you directly for best options.

HOMEPIN PRE-ORDER CUSTOMERS

With thanks to Homepin, they have agreed to honour the same warranty terms that Highway direct customers will receive. It means that if you have your orders shipped/handled by Highway, just register this machine with our office and we will honour 2 years warranty.

 

This means - if anything goes wrong with your machine, contact Highway Entertainment service department and our office will provide replacement parts for 2 years from the time you receive the machine. If anything goes wrong, just return the faulty parts to our office, and Highway will send replacement parts to you. No labour is included, and again, this is FREE service by Highway Entertainment.

We have now reached out to all customers, and have received approximately 50% replies. We will wait until everyone responds with their shipping updates and will then reach out to everyone with best options. We are not about to give you an on the spot freight/etc calculation until we receive everyone's feedback on how they want their cargo handled.

 

Please wait until end of this week at which time we will give updates on costs, together with door to door rates.

For customers who purchased Thunderbirds Pinball directly from Homepin, we are still working out logistics and support structure in Australia. Importers take on the responsibility of warranties, support, GST, insurance, etc…. and we are still waiting balance customers to reply us. If you have not received a direct email from our office please reach out to us asap. We will also be reaching out to Highway direct customers next week with similar updates.

 

Current estimate is that machines will be released to us in Oct/Nov in China and we will work directly with you for local logistics and support. Please be patient, we are bringing everything into alignment and will have local support in (hopefully) every state of Australia – this means all local Australian agents can support you quickly and professionally for all your Thunderbirds needs.
