using the Xin-Mo encoder in a raspberry Pi

Recommended Posts

has anyone setup a xin-mo (xinmo) encoder on a raspberry pi and knows where to find a good howto guide ?

i've looked online but what i've seen is a couple years old and for retropie v3 installs.

Can't seem to find a decent guide, going from scratch IE driver install, config settings.

I've used the xinmo before in a cocktail build running off a PC, wanting to re-purpose it in a Pi build.

Cheers!

So it's plug and play, no special driver needed ? (i'm running Retropie 4.3)

That’s right. I’m on latest retropie and raspbian and never installed drivers in the 3+ years / multiple fresh (re) builds I’ve done.
