Stern 1977 Lockdown bar

Recommended Posts

Hi, i just bought a nice Stern Stingray pinball, circa 1977 and it's missing the lockdown bar. I am happy to pay good money for one if there is a spare out there. Even a really bad one would do. The original bar has a pair of pins that lock, not the ordinary blades. Very similar to the Gottliebs of the time, but not skinny like them. If not, a Williams/Bally standard width, 22 1/4" with the receiver will do the job too. The late 70's, early eighties of course. Thankyou Wazza.:rolleyes Edited by Defender

I may have a Williams lockbar and receiver tucked away. But to answer your question it does seem like old lock bars are getting harder

I just bought a lockdown bar and receiver that will work on my Stingray, but before I drill, hammer and bash the new one into place, I would like to give it one more chance that there is a lockdown bar out there for me.
