BIG Trev
I'm just playing with ideas while putting pennies away to finish Thomas. The flying saucer from the movie Forbidden Planet as a pop bumper cap.[emoji16] It'll be motorised so it spins. I'm planning on fitting the pop bumper to a rotating disc set in the playfield so the saucer looks like it's flying in circles.[emoji16] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

You would have to have wipers for; Common,Coil drive, switching, and lighting. Also to get a decent effect of spinning it would need to go pretty fast .. it would probably make a good shaker motor is my guess. looks good though. I'm putting a motor in the pop bumper body to spin the ufo. The motor runs at 68rpm and will be connected to the spring. Just tinkering at the moment, I don't even have a cabinet for this one, yet.[emoji6] I realise I'll need wiper contacts and it'll be interesting to see how much wobble I get from the whole thing. I've got an idea on how to drive the turntable the bumper will mount on too but that'll have to wait. Cheers Trev.
