Hand tool for self rivetting ramps & plastics

Recommended Posts

Doesn't happen to be anyone in Brisbane that has a tool like one of the above (or have a different tool that solves the same rivet issue) in Brisbane & doesn't mind us popping over to pop in 2 small rivets into our Getaway ramp ?:flutter:

Any links to exactly what you bought? Looks like it’s not just me looking to do this...

Also, you can’t leave us hanging without showing the end results of you labor ;)

Haha. I’ve only done a trial so far. I remade a plate so have to do some holes first.

The small Advil is from a heel wet making supplies place . No link sorry but the brand is the bead smith. The punch and setters are self hammering 2 in 1 not sure I’m a fan of self hammering yet which is honestly why I probably haven’t done it yet. Need to get used to it. But that’s from spotlight. I’ll find the link

So I feel I’ve has success. I had to remove the self hammering mech as it made it all too wobbly and made abit of a mess of the bottom of one. It’s ok still works but just not as pretty. After I removed and just used hammer worked fine. Much easier.
