pinball motor/gearbox identification.

Question

Howdy,

With the recent need to find parts for several projects I had a thought about letting people know what I had "spare" to maybe help them out too.

It sort of hit me after checking out the numerous motor/gearbox assemblies I have that I have absolutely no idea what machines many are from.

I did try to seek out a resource that listed them my the manufacturers "spec" number but found nothing.

Would it be helpful to the community to have such a resource that can be added to and updated by the community?

I have numerous machines myself plus many that "visit" and can log these spec numbers.

I have also been logging the output shaft RPM for some motors just out of interest also.

Thoughts?

Paul. I reckon this would be very useful. Often I throw spares or old parts in a container and think I will remember what it's from... Then later on find out I have no idea!
