IBM 5511 (JXr) - repair tips?

Recommended Posts

So I've got an IBM 5511, and I'd love to get her at least doing "something", but kinda lost of where to start.

So it is very clean, no track rot, no corrosion, very little dust even. Using a meter I can verify the voltages from the power supply are spot on. I've got +5 and +12 to the expansion board. I've got +5, +12, -12 to the main PCB.

There is no beep, sound or anything from it, however the screen goes from rolling lines when it's powered off, to blank/black screen when it powers on, which suggests it's able to blank and init the video system.

I'm just not sure where to start next. The main PCB doesn't have many caps, but I guess that's somewhere to start.
