jason1
Munsters LE voted #3 on Pinside surely can not be true beating Maiden and Metallica Why not? It may come as a surprise to some, not every one rates those games as amazing. May even surprise some that Not every one likes those bands either. Every one is different On what they like, So it could very well be possible there are people who like Munster or any pin for that matter more than Met or Iron Maiden. I know there are a bunch of guys who have been doing their best to pump Iron maiden around here. My thoughts on Iron maiden is, Its ok as far as game play but the theme and sound track sucks, thats why I wouldnt rate it, But you might Rate something I like or some one else likes differently for the same reason. Munsters may come good with code updates and the shots feel like they are done by a seasoned designer (aside from the dragular shot) IMDN shots feel like amateur hour to me... they just don't feel satisfying, like they are just slightly off or something. My opinion is in the minority though and I get why its a favourite for some.

This holly grail, best pinball of all time thing may not be so anymore. I know if it was so good it wouldn't leave my collection under any circumstances. I know if it was so good it wouldn't leave my collection under any circumstances. This is true. But in fairness we are seeing a crazy amount of other later model sterns up for sale right now. Might be more sign of the times. I Dont think we have seen this many late model sterns being dumped on the market all at once as we are now. There is allot of Offloading going on right now. Might be hard to Gauge how well Munsters will sell simply how Money is getting tight for many Aussies right now. Might be that game every one wants but might find it tougher to make the decision to pull the pin due to how the market is looking currently. he timing of its release could be a problem in the Aussie market maybe? Im looking forward to playing it.
cejay
There would have to be a saturation point for all these new machines. People can't afford them all so we are maybe starting to see them being turned over as better games are produced. I'm more than happy to buy HUO machines that are only a few years old. Looking forward to playing Munsters to get back on topic, seems to have some good reviews.
micky
Munsters LE voted #3 on Pinside surely can not be true beating Maiden and Metallica The pinside top 100 is a joke, obviously. Every new machine gets right up near the top when everyone first gets their machines then settles down to where it should be later on. Munsters might very well be a good machine but I wouldn't take pinsiders word for it.
MarkOZLAD
I wonder if it’s an indication of the state of the economy? Pinball being discretionary spending could be one of the first things to go... Perhaps we have a new economic indicator, might give the ASX a call. Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade

pinballaddicted
I wonder if it’s an indication of the state of the economy? Pinball being discretionary spending could be one of the first things to go... Perhaps we have a new economic indicator, might give the ASX a call. Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade I think our economy if fine, Aussies are still retail spending at record levels, just housing has dropped off for now. There are only so many of us in Australia and I think too many pinball machines have come in over the last few years, both new and used. Pinheads that have games need to sell games to buy more. Also a few people with larger collections have put many good games for sale, first time in ages there are so many games for sale. Great time to be buying, plenty of choices! Having said all that, there are not too many second hand games for sale in NSW, most of them are in VIC. Munsters is about to arrive in Australia and I think people are selling a game instead of adding to their collections. Pinball rooms are full!
