redferatu
Not finished yet by a long stretch, but it's getting there. This is the space after a clear out. It was a storage area and the space is quite odd. Sent from my HTC 2PZF1 using Tapatalk - - - Updated - - - Because the space is awkward and I needed to plan to power out properly I had to come up with a plan. There are two circuits, one for each room controlled by isolating swatches next to the entrance.

redferatu
Here is where I am at. Lighting is a bit hard for photos, but perfect for gaming. LED running around the picture rails with spot lights if a need to work. The gun cab is next up, then probably consoles for a while, plan is OSSC, RGB mods and switches for SNES/MD to current gen. I should have an old but better lounge in there, maybe after next week.

redferatu
It is under the house. The long narrow bit is part of the verandah, the other but was a utility room. Sent from my HTC 2PZF1 using Tapatalk
-Slayer-
How's the condensation in the verandah part, I had to chuck in a roof in the man cave as it got really bad during winter.
redferatu
The roof in there is a suspended slab. On top of that is a sub floor and tiles, so nothing from the roof so far. The walls, two are internal, shared with the footings and a newly made storage room. The outer walls are mostly underground and have a water proofing membrane for bathrooms on the wall and a metre in on the floor, it's the darker grey. Under the flooring is builders plastic. So far, so good. If any moisture makes its way in hopefully it should evaporate as there is a fair amount of ventilation. Edit: It's double brick also Edited July 26, 2018 by redferatu

redferatu
So my room flooded, which I made now in another thread. Burst water pipe in the slab, so nothing I could do. Insurance is 2 going on 3 months in. I'm thinking about do the work myself because the builders are too busy/incompetent, whatever is going on. That means my workshop and spare area is full of arcades. But in the meantime I have been working on my crt / console setup. All jap consoles, modded rgb and region unlocked, running through an extron, ttl, rgbs. Sony wega kv rgb mod. That is the plan. I have a fair few consoles to test, clean and sell. Here is my work/play area. Sent from my HTC 2PZF1 using Tapatalk
redferatu
Just thought I'd share my mirror/retro displays The Dreamcast was being modded by a mate and he used the wrong screws destroying 12 tracks. The SNES I just couldn't get working with a recap, new voltage regulator, everything had continuity, just couldn't get life into it. The Neo geo has track and other damage from a battery leak. The mobo was my friends and in a goon incident. Also I'm working in the gun cabinet. Needs to be a little higher for my brother and me, but we are thinking of a dynamic solution.
