Also thanks to you Chaz for bringing along your killer Stellar Wars! ... I know you have been at it meticulously for Many weeks getting it ready for the event, for me I rekon hands down it was the show stopper of the older games! .... I'd wager that if @yomiurirob realised it was your baby he may have avoided it as the fifth game in your quarter-final decider! ... I know you've rolled it "Over The Top" in the past ;)

Some great flipper skills there regardless mate! ... looking forward to Flippin' @ Feddy in April Already! :D

Anyway just a quick general note, I've got a Truckload of pics to go through to put some up here in the coming days, and more details on various aspects in the way of results as well, just pretty flat out at the mo. Watch this space!

Cheers!

What a top wk end! Amazing effort by Ray (and co.). Count me in every time you host a wk end of pinnies Ray - not only are the comps well run and the machines well cared for and varied, but the best part is the vibe you guys create.

Did everyone see this clip that made it on to ABCnews?!

Watching ABC News SA Saturday 6/10/2018 in iviewhttps://iview.abc.net.au/show/abc-news-sa/series/0/video/NU1806S240S00

Good interviews by Ted and Greg- and the camera caught me doing one of my backwards karate kicks!

George

Ps- I’ll post some of the photos I took with my SLR soon

That was clearly a warm up kick....saving the real stuff for the tourney!

For the next tournament we are at together I'm going to bring in some safety cones to keep the hazardous work area clear :lol

For a little something different we had a shot at putting ceramic balls into Whitewater (this became a very nasty Whitewater lol) and Seawitch, making for a slightly faster kind of feel. Everyone seemed to like the way ceramic went in Seawitch. The old Stern made it through the whole weekend with only a couple of minor issues, but a dropped plunger link pin put it out in only the last hour of the finals on Sunday. The two most played games for the Best Game Card qualifying were Seawitch and Stellar Wars, with more than 50 plays each over the six hours (there were 22 arenas to choose from for most of the qualifying period)

The Seawitch made it back to it's home by Monday night where the link was repaired... a couple of us could not resist spending an evening racking up some plays on the old girl, we made an amateur recording of a few games as we enjoyed a couple of wind down bevvies :D

  • 3 weeks later...
Yep they were put in some time ago. I got an email from Luke yesterday letting me know that the results for all Bowland events are now approved and in the hands of the IFPA... they should be up soon. Currently just the weekday events are appearing in IFPA results.
