Jamma rgb sync question with CRT monitor

-Slayer-

Question

Hi guys, have been searching around for a hopefully quick answer from an expert, I have myself a nanao 20" monitor which I am using in my donkey Kong cabinet, have just rigged up the jamma harness and all was going well until I went to hook up the rgb sync cables, jamma harness only has 5 cables where as the monitor has 6. The jamma harness has a gap between the last two cables does this mean I leave that wire out on the CRT or do I put both sync wires to my jamma one wire? Sorry if this is obvious.

You'll have to trawl through some posts on here to find some info before flicking the on switch but it's generally Red Green Blue Sync Ground (5wires from the JAMMA) but sometimes the sync isnt used (as on my sharp image chassis) and the chassis only takes 4.

Oh really that's the info I need to know lol, does it need sync or not. I'm using an original dk pcb so might have to look at these schematics for clues
