v8racefan
Hey how do you tell it’s the self centring one? I can check mine if you want. Mines like new.
Autosteve
Hey how do you tell it’s the self centring one? I can check mine if you want. Mines like new. The self center type will constantly try to go to the center position. The normal type don't have a center position and are quite happy to go in either high and low position. It is very obvious what type when you move them. I'm pretty sure you can make them either by altering the springs.
Beavisbeaver
Initial D has self centering shifter. Different decal setup i think though.
Autosteve
Initial D has self centering shifter. Different decal setup i think though. Initial D uses a Sega part. That one is a generic. They were available locally for about $70. Not a bad part and easy to fix but no where near the quality of the Sega part but then again no where near the Sega price either. Pretty sure generic cabs used that part or the latching type depending on the game.
