Hi All!

With the opening of 1UP Arcade in May 2017, and our expansion in Dec, last year was a crazy busy time! However to kick things off in 2018 I thought it'd be great to organise a meet-up for Aussie Arcade members. It's always good to have an excuse to get out and mingle, and I really look forward to meeting you guys in person! Tim, our tech, will be there too for anyone wanting to have a 'techy' chat :D

I'll keep things pretty simple as a social gathering (no comps etc), however we can certainly discuss what kind of things everyone would like to see at future events.

The meet-up will be from 4pm, Saturday 3rd of Feb, with everyone welcome to stay til closing (10pm). Hopefully this will give those travelling enough time to hang out for a few hours, and still travel home at a reasonable hour. Arcade entry is $15 for unlimited free-play arcade OR pinball, or $25 for free-play everything. If you just want to come and socialise but not play games, that's fine too and you're welcome to come without paying any entry.

1UP Arcade is located at (Basement Level) 230 Lytton Road, Morningside QLD. There's parking right outside, with another 40 carparks in our top carpark.

Once most people have arrived and we know numbers, I'll grab a few pizzas too so we can all have a bite to eat, catch up, and exchange arcade stories! Looking forward to it :)

Cheers,

Stephen

Just a reminder of the Aussie Arcade members meet-up at 1UP Arcade this Saturday from 4pm (although you're welcome to come down earlier).

Hoping to catch up and meet a few of the Brisbane AA crew and discuss all things arcadie! ;-)

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come down, catch up, eat some pizza and of course indulge in a few hours of classic arcade games :-D

It was great to see everyone, exchange a few arcade stories, and re-discover all that's broken in MK ;-)

I think we had 8 Aussie Arcade members turn up which was great, and most people seemed keen on some kind of regular meet every 2-3 months, so I'll create another event a few weeks out from the next meet.

I presume a Saturday afternoon works for most people?

Cheers,

SHI
