You might want to be a bit (OK, a LOT) more specific. Many repairers will only do certain brands or eras of machines.

Try something like this:

"Hi guys, I have a 1974 Black Rose pinball machine by Gottlieb that has started smoking/won't kick out balls/makes random noises and I wonder if there is anyone in the XXX area that can have a look at it for me?"

Feel free to cut and paste that

As irritating as he might sound, he makes a valid point especially if your machine is an Electro-mechanical or Gottlieb Premier. It can be difficult to find someone to do repairs, so if your specifically looking at a particular brand it would help to mention that then maybe a member can help you out or guide you to a specialist in repairing such brands or type of era.

Tilt mode? What's coming from the play panel? Do you mean the playfield? Very hard to see what?

You really need to describe the problem you are having with correct terminology, then any number of people on here will be able to suggest advice.

If you describe things in vague statements, without any photos or videos of the problem, no one will know what the problem is.

So the machine would tilt and you would lose your ball? After 5 minutes each game, for no reason?

Have you tried adjusting the tilt plumb-bob in the cabinet?

I have no idea what you mean by crackling under the playfield. I suggest you upload a video to YouTube of the machine being switched on. You are not describing the problems enough to get much help. You will need to show more specifics of what the machine is doing. If you do make a video, ensure that the displays on the backglass are visible in the video.

It sounds like a speaker with a loose connection

If tilt isnt working manually activate Tilt in a game and see if it works and stops the game sometimes they tarnish and need a goid clean. As for the speaker its probably original and the cone has perished or if ok clean the terminals and check for a loose connection. Don't get too carried away with guys here or they will ignore you, and thats not going to help you fix your problem cheaply.
