Keen to see you you deal with the cupped/raised inserts. My Flash has same. Currently lots of wax on cupped and clamped down the raised arrows. Mine will never leave collection.

    Replacing flipper buttons
    left side was melted
    Left flipper button.jpg
both flipper button out old and new
    Replacements + old ones.jpg
the right side one was longer
    Right side short.jpg
was surprised that the right side requires a longer flipper button
    as the plywood is thicker
    left side ok

Anyone got any ideas where you can get the original style flippers that have the longer shaft?

Are you looking for part No 20-9250-5
it is thinner at the tip
which is more like the original ? ..

    or the thicker replacement 20-10110-5

shaft length is 2-3/16" in length

Originals had the bat that screwed to the base and shaft assembly. I wouldn't recommend them but I have some I can I can get measurements off.

Just curious why you need the longer shafts?. Are you sure the flipper shaft bushings are the correct size as in not sticking above the playfield to much making it appear the flipper shafts you have aren't to short.

Someone may have installed DMD style bushings which are longer when fitted to the playfield instead of the flipper base plate as they are intended.
