Partyland

Something that's always been tinkering around in the back of my head is Pinball Fantasies and whether the tables would actually work in real life, particularly Partyland and Stone n Bones.

 

Well, it seems I'm not the only one. Fellpe Sanches in South America has been working on it for years. I can't find a blog yet, but there's a flickr album of his work going back to 2006 through to 2011: Pinball Fantasies Remake (PARTY land)

 

Some interesting ideas. His laser cut acrylic with art applied:

He's modified DOSBox to allow him to play without the screen scrolling and I think he's actually planning to use this to run the code for the game itself.
