Few gremlins threw out but overcome them in the end.

Connector issue at the mpu kept resetting

Middle bumper was weak , had a 39 ohm stern coil instead of the 11 ohm Bally coil.

Credit display was playing up, 90% of puns were cracked.

$6M Man playing nice now.

After opening up a mostly working Charlie’s Angels , it was time for another target bank rebuild.

But first it needed to soak as was also rusted in bits.

And what do you do when there’s no leg levellers or trolly?

A bolt will do.

Back onto Silverball Mania.

Kept resetting and after changing a fuktonne of connectors, I decided to just go back to the start.

Pull the transformer.

Looks like there was a fire [emoji91] and a heap of melted resin.

Cleaned it up and vac’d it out.

Bolted transformer back in “properly”, and it miraculously stopped the hum.

Added the cage, and with all the wiring tidied up a bit , plugged in the couple connectors to the solenoid board.

Went from there checking voltage and plugging in more boards.

What do ya know, no more resetting.

So far.

Well after 36 odd hour stint, the 2nd unboxing.

First in Adelaide, a night of work, straight to the airport, off to Melbourne, Hashmans shop, then to the Dangershed.

2 unboxed Maiden LEs in 2 States without sleep in between.

I just walked around carrying the flipper assy and searched for my Allen Key for 20mins.

Then sat down and saw this.

After checking out Friday and walking around Melbourne all day and night , it was off to the airport for a 9hr wait to grab the red eye Sat flight home.

Then Sunday arvo delivery to Sydney time.

And couldn’t come home empty. Picked up 3 of the 5 recent SS purchases.

Now I’m officially finished.

No more road trips. Need to stay home and do the Dedshed and the Barn.

Sad but I think I know how you feel. I sold mine several years ago and don't miss it to tell you the truth. As much as I love the looks and performance of those beasts, I finally figured I simply wasn't using it to warrant the rego and insurance and in the back of my mind was if it was to get damaged, what insurance company is going to be able to get the parts to fix it?. Just don't make the mistake I made though and go from a 6 liter V8 petrol to a 2 liter 4 cylinder turbo diesel. It is ridiculous the difference to tell you the truth going from one of the quickest to the slowest on the road.

Like Jeff said “Funny you say that” I can’t decide between a Triton, Ranger or VF 2 SS Ute :) I want a Ute but.......

I'm looking at changing caravan pulling vehicles ( yes I'm an old fart) and have narrowed it down to an Izuzu D-max or an NX Pajero. Forget Prado - overpriced same as Hilux, Jeep never ever, ranger - try buying an engine for one (and then ask why do I need to buy one), Colorado - plain nup and I'm a "holden" man.

Sorry Edy, back on track and congrats/hugs on the Tonna being sold. Bigger picture mate.
